JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Starting Wednesday, lottery players in Florida will have another option when it comes to taking a chance at a big jackpot.
Tickets for Mega Millions go on sale Wednesday.

Florida becomes the last state in the nation with a lottery to join Mega Millions.
Drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday nights.
Wednesday night's jackpot is an estimated $170 million.
State economists say adding Mega Millions may reduce sales for the Florida Lotto, and the other multistate game that Florida takes part in, Powerball.
They also don't expect that it will increase the amount of funding state education programs get from the lottery.
