Men sought in Westside robberies

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify men in two robberies early Friday morning on the Westside.

Police said masked men went into the stores and robbed them.

The first was a Kangaroo at 6003 Roosevelt Blvd. at 2:40 a.m. The second was a 7-Eleven at 3613 S. Lane Ave. at 3 :15 a.m.

Police said in each case, the men demanded money from the businesses after confronting the employees, then fled on foot.

One of the men is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, between 160-180 pounds and 19-25 years old.

The second is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, between 180-190 pounds and 20-30 years old.
