Missing Alzheimer's patient returns home

Police say Ronald Zeigler made it home safely Wednesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 68-year-old Alzheimer's patient has returned home safe after reportedly missing for 16 hours, according to JSO.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said Ronald Zeigler went missing from his home on Lone Star Road Tuesday.

Zeigler was also reported missing in November and was found in Macclenny, located in Baker County, by the Florida Highway Patrol when police said a trooper ran the tag on Zeigler's vehicle at an area Walmart.

Police said after 16 hours, Zeigler returned home safely. No other information has been given on his whereabouts.
