MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – A 52-year-old Middleburg motorcyclist died early Monday morning when a car pulled into his path on County Road 218, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Douglas Allison was riding east on C.R. 218 when a car driven by Travis Quinn, 26, of Middleburg pulled onto the highway from Thunder Road at 6:40 a.m. Allison's motorcycle ran into the car. He died at the scene.

According to the FHP report, charges against Quinn are pending.
All lanes of County Road 218 in Middleburg were blocked until nearly 9 a.m. while the accident was investigated and cleared.
