Motorcyclist killed in Arlington crash

23-year-old fell from flyover

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed Saturday night on the Southside connector when his motorcycle struck a barrier, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened just before 10 p.m. on the Southside flyover from Arlington Expressway.

Troopers said Randy Lee Glass was riding a motorcycle was traveling north on the Southside connector and struck a concrete barrier. The impact sent the man over the edge of the flyover and he landed on the lanes below. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers said Glass was wearing a helmet.
