ST. AUGUSTINE Fla. – A St. Johns County judge says a 98-year-old murder suspect should be placed in a state psychiatric facility.
Amanda Stevenson is charged with shooting her nephew in 2011.

She was found not competent for prosecution and has been in the St. Johns County jail.
For months, prosecutors, her defense lawyer, and the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities have argued over where she should be placed.
Now, the judge has ordered that she be placed in the custody of the Department of Children and Families and sent to its facility in the Panhandle.
