Nightclubs close down after alcohol sales fight

Clubs were ordered to curtail hours of serving alcohol

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – Two Orange Park nightclubs that were forced to curtail their hours of serving alcohol have closed down.

The Clay County Commission ordered Club Christophers and Crazy Horse Saloon to stop selling alcohol at 11p.m. instead of 2 a.m.

The owners of the clubs filed suit to block the order, but a federal judge upheld the shorter hours.

The club owners have an appeal pending before a federal appeals court.
