Neighbors and firefighters with the Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department say the home appears to be vacant.

"It took us about 15 to 20 minutes to knock it down," said Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department District Chief Jack Griggs.

Griggs said no one was hurt and the home was not occupied at the time of the fire.  Griggs said there was extensive damage to the home and that the home was totally destroyed.

The state fire marshal is now investigating the cause.
