CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies in Clay County are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed an Orange Park bank Tuesday morning.
Investigators said the man went into Compass Bank at 536 Blanding Blvd. just after 11:30 a.m., went to the teller line to complete a transaction, then passed a note to the teller demanding her to give him money.

She said he pointed an object at her while demanding the money but the object was concealed by his pants pocket.
The robber is described as a black man, 6 feet 2 inches tall and between 250 and 275 pounds. He was wearing a black and blue plaid shirt with gray pants, black tennis shoes and a white ball cap. He had a deep voice.
A dye pack was given to the robber with the money he received and may cause burns to the man's legs or hands if the money was in his hands or in his pockets when the dye pack exploded, deputies said.
