ORLANDO, Fla. – Police are investigating the shooting death of an apartment security guard on Saturday night.
Police said they were called to the Sabal Palm Apartments at 6185 Raleigh Street about a shooting that happened just before midnight.

When officers arrived at the apartments, they found a man lying on the ground, near the car wash area, in the complex as a result of being shot, police said.
Police said the man was identified as being a security guard for the complex.
Police said the name of the guard will not be released at this time, pending next of kin notification.
