PALATKA, Fla. - A Putnam County grand jury has indicted Ivory Harris on a charge of first-degree murder in the April 13 stabbing death of her 76-year-old husband.

Deputies say Harris, 56, stabbed Clark Harris Jr. when an argument in their St. Johns Avenue home turned violent.  Harris was transported to Putnam County Medical Center, where he died.

An autopsy found that the man died of multiple stab wounds not consistent with any justifiable use of force and his death was ruled a homicide.

After detectives conducted additional interviews with Ivory Harris, she was arrested and booked into the Putnam County jail, where she remains held without bond.
