FHP: Flagler County Officer facing charges for violation of right way

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A Flager County Officer is facing charges after causing a crash with a motorcycle Thursday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to an FHP report, 35-year-old Officer Jeremy Cole was traveling southbound on Seminole Woods Boulevard in a patrol car.

54-year-old Selbert Mills was riding his motorcycle northbound on Seminole Woods Boulevard, when the patrol car made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, according to FHP.

The motorcycle hit the patrol car and Mills was thrown from the motorcycle.

Mills was transported to Halifax Hospital with serious injuries.

Officer Cole was also transported to Florida Hospital by a co-worker with minor injuries.

FHP said Cole is facing charges for violation of right way.
