Sanford police search for shooter

SANFORD, Fla. – At least one is dead and two others are hurt after a shooter opened fire in Sanford Sunday night, according to Sanford police.

Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. Sunday in the area of 14th Street and Oleander Avenue. Three victims were shot and taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, where one victim died, according to police.

The other two victims' injuries aren't considered life threatening, police said. The victim names or a shooter description haven't been released.
