Jacksonville, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning in a Westside apartment that critically injured a man.
A few minutes after midnight, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the Eureka Gardens Apartment Complex on Labelle Street, right near Cassat Avenue. Officers found a man lying unresponsive in an apartment.

Jacksonville Fire-Rescue was called and the victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with life-threatening injuries.
