JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 22-year-old Middleburg man was arrested Sunday after he apparently got lost and wound up breaking into a portable classroom at Terry Parker High School, according to Jacksonville police.
Police were called to the school in Arlington after multiple silent burglary alarms were set off just before 3 a.m.

They said they found the portable classroom with several computer monitors knocked off the table, a desk knocked over, and a printer thrown into a wall, causing a small hole in the wall.
The teacher's desk drawers were open and the bathroom next to the teacher's desk, which was being used as a storage closet, was also opened. There was also a significant amount of sand on the teacher's desk and the stair-side doorknob to the portable, police said. In front of the door was a large piece of cinderblock, and the door was unsecured.
While investigating the portable, police said they received a complaint of a burglary in progress of a Duval County School Board vehicle across the street.
There, police said they found Jesse James Barfield pounding on the door of an apartment, demanding to be let in and saying he lived there.
Police said Barfield matched the description of the classroom burglar, adding that Barfield told them he "was in the building." Police said he also had sand on his hands and forearms.
Officers said Barfield was "very intoxicated" and could not remember what he had done, but that he was "sorry for what he did and should be punished."
Barfield was arrested and booked into the Duval County jail.
