JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating after two girls walking to school Friday morning said a man got out of his pickup truck and started to run toward them.
Officers were called to Cedar Hills Elementary School at 6534 Ish Brant Road on the Westside just before 9 a.m.

Police said the girls were walking in the area of Jammes Road and Arthur Durham Drive when an older white man got out of his truck and ran toward them. Investigators said both girls ran and were able to get to a crossing guard and report what happened.
The man didn't say anything to the girls, according to police.
The truck is described as a white Chevrolet S-10 pickup with black rims and no hubcaps.
Investigators said they're trying to determine exactly what happened.
