He has been depressed due to a recent family death, police said. They said he has a history of alcohol and drug abuse and cutting himself.

Police said Rodriguez hasn't answered his cellphone since Sunday.

His family believes due to a post he made on his Facebook account on June 13 that he may go to the Jacksonville Beach area to drown himself. The family member who died lived in Orange Park, and Rodriguez used to live with him and did a lot of fishing with him.

Rodriguez may also attend AA meetings at the Triangle Club.

Rodriguez is described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He drives a 2012 blue Chevrolet Cruz with Florida license plate No. BPWS10.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call Gainesville police at 352-955-1818.
