JSO says man took merchandise from parked vehicle, fled area

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the auto burglary suspect was captured on surveillance cameras inside a store prior to the burglary.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man accused of stealing from a vehicle.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said police responded on Nov. 18 to a burglary to a vehicle at Kangaroo on Granite Place, near the intersection of I-295 and Heckscher Drive.

The man took merchandise from a parked vehicle and fled the area, according to police.

Police said the suspect was captured on surveillance cameras inside the store prior to the burglary. He has a small protrusion on the back of his head just above his neck, which police said may help identify him.
