The girl told them she was in her front yard when a black pickup truck, which she had seen circling the area several times, stopped on the street in front of her house. The driver pointed a gun at the girl and told her to get inside his truck, police said.

The man then drove several blocks away before parking on the side of the street, where he fondled the girl, police said. They said he then allowed her to leave.

The man is described as black, in his late 20s or early 30s, 350 pounds, with a low haircut and clean-shaven face. He had a cross tattoo with writing across it in the middle of his right shoulder.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with the sleeves cut off and black gym shorts.

Anyone with any information on the man's identity is asked to call Lake City police on the TIP line at 386-719-2068.
