PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – The son of Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy and his girlfriend were each arrested in connection with a theft case, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said Detective Chris Gay was investigating a larceny case when he discovered a number of articles of jewelry had been pawned at the Northeast Florida Metal Exchange.

The investigation revealed that the suspect, 32-year-old Allison Gautier, had stolen several gold rings, assorted coins, gold necklaces, several power tools, and a .45 caliber revolver from her parents. Several of the items were recovered by Gay, and he was able to make contact with the victims in this case, deputies said.
They said further investigation revealed that Gautier and her boyfriend, Hardy's son Joshua Imm, were living with her parents when the items disappeared.
Gautier was arrested Monday and charged with eight counts of dealing in stolen property, eight counts of fraud, two counts of larceny, and burglary. Her bond was set at $89,576.
Imm, 29, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of larceny, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, burglary, and dealing in stolen property. His bond was set at $12,020.
Imm was arrested in 2010 on meth charges.
"I love my son, but I do not condone his actions, and my agency will not show him any favoritism," Hardy said in a news release.
