The district is expected to set the new hours next week.

Parents who have questions about changes to bus stop locations and times can call 904-381-7433.

It's not just the students and parents who may have questions about all the new changes with the extra hour. It's some of the teachers, too.

The school board has not yet approved funding to pay teachers for the additional hour.

The school district estimates the cost for extending the school day at 50 schools will be between $8 million and $10 million.
