The remains have not yet been identified.

Investigators were called to the corner of Town Center Parkway and Brightman Boulevard -- across the road from Publix. They said the remains have been in the woods for possibly several months.

Police continued working the scene Saturday trying to collect as much of the remains as possible.

The remains were found more than 100 yards into the woods.

Investigators said not all the remains were in the woods. They said parts of the body were missing, possibly from animals.
