ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Four women and a 16-year-old girl were arrested on felony retail theft charges after deputies responding to a shoplifting call at the St. Augustine Premium Outlet Mall Monday evening led to a traffic stop on Interstate 95 near County Road 210.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office identified the women as Lakycra Arie Gardner, 24, of Jacksonville; and Jasmonique Lavon Franklin, 22; Mia Nicole Dock, 19; Shacarrie Deasia Heyward, 18; and the 16-year-old, all of Savannah, Ga.

St. Johns County deputies responded to a report of a shoplifting in progress at Polo Ralph Lauren shortly before 6 p.m. in which the suspects were seen leaving in a white Nissan Altima when Deputy Ezekiel Kelly spotted a matching vehicle heading north on I-95. The car was pulled over at the rest stop and its five occupants were secured. Deputies said they found $2,000 worth of suspected stolen clothing inside the car, along with tools to remove anti-shoplifting devices.

Clothing was located from six Outlet Mall stores, including Polo Ralph Lauren, Reebok/Rockport Outlet, Aeropostale Outlet, Nike Outlet, Gap Outlet,
and Tommy Hilfiger Outlet.

The adults were booked into the St. Johns County jail on bonds ranging from $5,500 to $20,000. The juvenile was turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
