JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For the third day in a row, protesters are waiting for Gov. Rick Scott to meet with them to discuss changing the "stand your ground" law.
The number of protestors spending day and night in the governor's outer office has grown from 30 to 60. Most of them are holding signs and handing out stickers to unite the group together while waiting for the governor, who has been away from Tallahassee all week.
"We're here and not going anywhere," one protester said.

The governor was in South Florida on Thursday afternoon. Last year, Scott created a task force to look into the stand your ground law. After last weekend's verdict in the George Zimmerman trial, he said he doesn't think the law needs changed.
"They concluded they didn't need to make a change to the law, and I agree with their conclusion," Scott said.
Rev. R.B. Holmes was the task force vice chairman who looked into the law.
"Look at the recommendations that we made," he said. "Just don't say no changes. We made some real strong recommendations."
State Sen. John Thrasher, R-St. Augustine, said there are ways to make your voice heard, but doesn't think the sit-in is the way to do it.
"Not to stand in front of my door protesting, that's not the way to do it," he said.
Regardless, protesters said they will wait for Scott at the Capitol.
As protesters continue to wait for the governor, volunteers continue to bring them food to make sure they stay fed at the sit-in.
Nationally, entertainers like Stevie Wonder are telling fans to boycott Florida until changes are made.
"Until the stand your ground Law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again," Wonder said.
But protesters say a boycott will speak louder than words.
The number of protesters who stayed overnight in the Capitol nearly doubled from Tuesday night through Wednesday night, with more expected Thursday night.
Most of the protesters say they still aren't going anywhere, adding if they have to sit outside the office all weekend into next week waiting for Scott, they'll be more than happy to do so.
