BAKER COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies in Baker County were in a standoff with a Department of Corrections officer in a home north of downtown Macclenny late Monday afternoon until he eventually surrendered, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The man, who's ex-military, was threatening to harm himself after a domestic dispute in a home in the Foxridge subdivision, deputies said.

He was said to have several guns in the house, including rifles and a shotgun.

The Sheriff's Office's special response team talked to the man and evacuated nearby homes.

No one was hurt.

The suspect will likely be Baker Acted.
