JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police have released the name of the man killed Friday morning in an apartment in Murray Hill, but no other details of the homicide investigation.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Lance Van Domingus Morene. He was found dead about 10:30 a.m. Friday after several people in the 3200 block of Rayford Street heard four or five gunshots and called 911.

Police on Friday said no one was in custody in connection with the slaying, but they wanted to question at least two men seen leaving the scene in a silver or grey Toyota just after the shots were fired.
"On the back of that Toyota, there appears to be what some body work going on, and it is primer grey," Sgt. T.K. Waters said.
