SANFORD, Fla. - A Central Florida man was arrested after he returned to a Walmart in Seminole County a week after he was caught on video stashing a rifle in the toy section of the store.
Morgan Kelley, 20, of Lakeland, was arrested Saturday on charges of burglary, larceny and criminal mischief.
According to police, Kelley broke into a gun case at the Sanford Walmart, took a rifle and hid it in a toy vehicle.
A week later, Kelley returned to the store, and employees who recognized him called police.
Kelley told investigators he had been drinking with some friends and admitted to taking the rifle, according to police.
Kelley was arrested and taken to the Seminole County jail.
It's not known who found the rifle.
