ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A 23-year-old Jacksonville woman was identified and arrested Tuesday in connection with a burglary and theft of a laptop computer last week in St. Johns County.

Kelly Ann Grennan is charged with burglarizing a van while it was in a parking lot of a Walgreens on State Road 13 North last Thursday.

The victim of the burglary reported that a laptop computer was removed from the vehicle. Deputies said Grennan was seen on surveillance video, and images were released to surrounding law enforcement agencies and media earlier this week.

The investigation revealed that Grennan was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office later last Thursday following a similar burglary to a vehicle in the Mandarin area. The JSO detective identified her to a St. Johns County detective, who, in turn, arrested Grennan after she bonded out of the Duval County jail earlier this week.

In addition, detectives were able to find the victim's laptop computer at a Duval County pawn shop where Grennan received $150 for the stolen computer, deputies said. The computer was returned to the victim.

Grennan was being held in the St. Johns County jail with bail set at $5,000 and faces additional charges as the investigation continues, deputies said.
