JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman visiting a home on the Westside was shot in the leg early Friday morning, and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office now says it was an accidental shooting.
The home is located on Joandale Road, which is north of Beaver Street and east of U.S. 301.

On Monday, police identified the victim as Dawnyell Rana Beverly, 26.
Two other people who were also visiting the home are detained for questioning. Police initially said they were receiving different accounts of what happened, according to JSO. Investigators are trying to determine if the shooting was accidental or intentional.
