Yulee woman missing since May 2

Deputies seek missing 24-year-old Nassau County woman

YULEE, Fla. – The Nassau County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help finding a 24-year-old woman last seen last Friday night.

Amber Lynne Cisewski, known as Amber Chase, 24, is described as a white woman with hazel eyes, long brown hair and weighing 155 pounds.

Cisewski was last seen about 10 p.m. May 3 at her home at 56126 Boggy Trail in Callahan. Cisewski has not been in contact with her family members then, which they said is abnormal behavior.

Investigators said Cisewski has the mind of a 15-year-old girl, which is even more of a reason why investigators want to find her and bring her home.

"She did have an injury when she was younger," said Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper. "She may be easily influenced now, so we just want to make sure that she has not been led off by anyone who may want to do her harm."

Leeper said that there are a number of reasons for Cisewski's disappearance and deputies are looking into all of them. Deputies are not sure if she has been injured, harmed or if she just walked away.

Leeper told Channel 4 that Cisewski's boyfriend of 8 years was the last person to see her last Friday night at their home in Callahan.

"This is unusual for her to leave and not be in contact with him or her family," said Leeper.

Channel 4 Crime Analyst Ken Jefferson said adults who fail to contact family or miss their normal routines are generally considered at risk and given Ciseweski's mental state, it is even more important to find her.

"If they feel like this person can't fend for herself, if there are medications that she needs, well certainly there is a concern," said Jefferson.

"If you know her, if you know where she's at, just please give us a call so we can clear this case," said Leeper.

Any possible information on the whereabouts of Amber Cisewski should call the Nassau County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division at 904-548-4081 or after hours at 904-225-5174.
