BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A teen killed in a crash last week on Interstate 10 was honored Thursday night at a vigil with family and friends in Baker County.
Troopers said Brieana Ahearn, 18, died last Thursday after she was driving on I-10 near U.S. 301 and lost control of her truck, which hit the median and flipped several times.
Brieana, who went by Brie, was a senior at Baker County High School and was on the wrestling team. She was also an award-winning barrel racer.

One week after Brie's death, there is still an outpouring of support from the community.
Family and friends gathered at the Baker County High School football field to honor her memory with a candlelight vigil.
"When we think of Brie, we can't help but to smile," loved ones said.
The teen's family sat together on the bleachers at the football field wearing matching T-shirts that read "Brie Strong."
Emily Tedesco was Brie's best friend after meeting on the high school's wrestling team.
News4Jax asked Emily if she could say anything to Brie right now, what it would be?
"I'd tell her to not stop working out, because when we both get to heaven, we're going to win those championships together for weightlifting in heaven," Emily said.
Candles were lit and Brie's favorite music was played throughout the stadium.
Then dozens of people bowed their heads in prayer.
"Dear Jesus, you know our hearts are hurting. You know that one week ago today, we wouldn't never imagine we'd have to say goodbye to our precious Brie," a person over the loud speaker said.
Emily said she hopes she and her friends can learn from Brie's life.
"Brie was very strong and fierce and fearless," Emily said. "She was always helping other people out. She saw somebody struggling with something, she'd show them how to get through it and how to do it right."
