Man, 22, Dies After Double Shooting

Police Looking For Whoever Is Responsible

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 22-year-old man shot Sunday morning at an Arlington apartment complex has died, Jacksonville police said.

Police were called to a double shooting at the Oak Hammock apartments in the 500 block of Acme Street, off Arlington Expressway, just before 11 a.m.

Darius Foster and another person were shot. Both were taken to a hospital, where Foster died. Police said the other victim, whose identity was not released, had minor injuries.

Police said they are still looking for the shooter or shooters.

Police found bullets scattered all over the complex, one in a tree near the entrance and another in the wall just below an apartment.

Police were reviewing surveillance tape of the apartment complex to see if they could find out who is responsible.
