Carter was wanted in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Westside home Sunday.

Andrew Carter (pictured below) was being sought on a murder charge in the killing of 21-year-old Craig Brown in the 6000 block of Cranberry Lane.

He would have also faced a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Brown was found shot in his car about 10 a.m.

Police said there was some type of argument that took place between Brown and Carter, who knew each other. Investigators said it appears Carter was waiting for Brown to come out of the house when he shot him. They said he then fled on foot.
