JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is behind bars and a woman is recovering after she was shot in the chest, police said.
It happened just after 5 p.m. Saturday at a house on Yellow Bluff Road on Jacksonville's northside.

News4Jax is told the suspected gunman, who's a 60-year-old man, fled the scene in an SUV. The woman is said to be in her late 40s. Investigators believe the two know each other.
Police were able to catch up with the man and arrested him. They also recovered a handgun near the scene.?
The woman was listed Saturday night in serious condition at the hospital.
