According to the arrest report, FFWCC received a tip about someone growing marijuana in the Thomas Creek Wildlife Management Area in northern Duval County, just south of the Nassau County line.

Officers said they were conducting a stakeout overnight, when McIntyre pulled up in a truck, got out and started walking with a large water bottle on his shoulder toward the cannabis plants.

The report said McIntyre admitted that the plants were his and said he had marijuana in the truck that he was driving.

Officers said they searched the truck and found a .22 pistol, an AR-15 rifle, ammunition, three containers with dried marijuana, several cannabis butts, a glass pipe and a grinder.

McIntyre was booked into the Duval County Jail.
