Taurice Brown has been charged in the killing.

Police said a witness told them Brown went to his house in the 6100 block of Transylvania Avenue, about 125 yards east of Blanding Boulevard, and got into an argument with another man.

Police said Brown pulled out a gun and began shooting at the man, identified by police as Wiggins, who was in his car and began to drive away.

The witness told police there was also a passenger in Brown's car who also shot at the man. That person is still unidentified.

Police said the witness identified Brown from a photo spread. Police said several other witnesses at the scene were interviewed and reported that at least one man was shooting at a car as it was traveling west on Transylvania Avenue toward Blanding Boulevard.

Police said Wiggins' vehicle was shot in the rear quarter panel and taillight.

Brown was arrested and booked into the Pretrial Detention Facility.
