Man arrested in narcotics bust in Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old man was arrested Thursday on drug charges after narcotics agents found 270 grams of drugs and more than $4,000 in cash in his Putnam County homes, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said.

Shane Robinson is charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession.

Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Tri-County Narctoics Task Force and Putnam County vice detectives executed search warrants Thursday morning on homes on Anderson Drive in Pomona Park and Hickory Nut Trail in Satsuma, both belonging to Robinson and his girlfriend.

Investigators found a combined total of 244 grams of cocaine, 26 grams of suspected MDMA and $4,461 in cash.

Deputies said Robinson claimed responsibility for the drugs and contraband found in the investigation and was booked into the Putnam County Jail without benefit of bond.

Robinson's girlfriend was not criminally charged and was released at the scene.
