The victim told the Flagler County Sheriff's Office that she tried repeatedly to get away from Harris, but that he threw her to the ground and put her hands behind her back. She said he then took her phone away from her and broke it, preventing her from calling for help.

Deputies said Harris grabbed a knife and threatened to kill his grandmother. She said at that time, fearing for her life, she told him she was in excruciating pain and somehow talked him into letting her go to the hospital.

Deputies went to the home, where they found Harris hiding in a bedroom closet. He was arrested and charged with violation of an injunction, burglary, battery on a person over 65, aggravated assault, tampering with a witness and false imprisonment.

Harris was booked into the Flagler County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
