Benjamin Lee Washington, 31, was convicted Thursday afternoon on a charge of second-degree murder in the 2006 death of Chad Henderson.
In 2006, Washington and several others were at a party when Washington and Henderson, 19, had a discussion about the victim’s swastika tattoo. During the discussion, Washington pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
Washington was originally convicted in 2007 and sentenced to life in prison for the murder. Washington’s conviction was reversed on appeal due to an error in the jury instructions.
