JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A jury found Roland Stanley Mainor, 23, guilty Friday evening of second-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Robert Cummings.

In October 2007, officers found Cummings dead in a vacant lot on Doeboy Street. The investigation revealed that Mainor and his co-defendant, Justin Graham, were in a car with Cummings when the victim and Mainor got into an argument. During that time, the defendant pulled out a gun and shot Cummings in the back. He then drove to the vacant lot, dumped the victim's body, and fled the scene.
