ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A St. Augustine man accused of burning his wife's then-2-year-old son with a clothes iron was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to child abuse and child neglect.

Elanna previously pleaded no contest to child neglect and was sentenced to a year in jail.

Family members told investigators that the couple didn't take care of and may have inflicted wounds on the 2-year-old.

St. Augustine police said they found the boy with second-degree burn marks from an iron, with a bruise and with the boy's foot bleeding.
