Man guilty of attempted murder in 2014 stabbing

Adam Ingles, 50, faces 30 years to life in prison

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was found guilty Wednesday of second-degree attempted murder in a 2014 stabbing.

According to the Office of the State Attorney, Adam Ingles, 50, and the victim got into an argument outside a convenience store in June 2014 before Ingles pulled out a knife and stabbed the man several times in his neck and stomach.

Officials said Ingles left the area, and the victim was found a short time later on the sidewalk bleeding.

The victim later recovered from his injuries.

Ingles faces 30 years and up to life in prison. His sentencing is set for July 11.
