JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot in the arm, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said the shooting happened on North Newnan Street in the downtown area. They said a black Chrysler was seen leaving the scene.

The motive for the shooting is unknown, and police are still looking for the shooter.
The man shot is expected to be okay. His name has not been released.
