JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – James Howard Crowe, 32, pleaded guilty Thursday to four counts of sexual battery and one count of promoting a sexual performance. Crowe was sentenced to 25 years in prison and designated a sexual predator.

Prosecutors said a 12-year-old child victim told authorities in July 2012 of a history of sexual abuse that had occurred between her and Crowe. The investigation revealed that Crowe forced the child to have sex with him and engage in other inappropriate sexual acts on multiple occasions.
