Man receives 20 years in child sex case

David Earl Ealey, 53, had sexual contact with 14-year-old boy

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison in a child sex case.

David Earl Ealey, 53, was sentenced to 20 years and 10 months for having inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy in June 2013.

The teen reported the abuse to authorities.

Detectives with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office linked Ealey to the abuse through DNA.

Ealey was convicted of the charges in March.  He's now a sex offender, habitual felony offender and prison release re-offender.

He has five prior felony convictions for burglary and robbery.
