Man robbed, shot in NW Jacksonville

Police find marijuana, AK-47 rifles in 2nd home

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot twice and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon in Northwest Jacksonville.

Police were called to a home in the 4800 block of Amos Street about 1 p.m.

They said the victim told them he was robbed.

Police said they then checked out another house on the same street because there was evidence of gun play in the front yard and a trail of blood in the same area of that home.

Police said marijuana and AK-47 rifles were found in that home.
