Man robs CVS store at gunpoint

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was asking for help identifying a man who robbed a CVS store at gunpoint.

Police were dispatched to the store on Normandy Boulevard on Tuesday shortly after 4 a.m.

The robber walked into the store, grabbed items and approached the front counter, according to JSO.

Police said he lifted his shirt and displayed a small black handgun.  He demanded money from the cash register.

The clerk gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money and the robber ran out.
