Man robs 121 Financial Credit Union on Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank on the Westside Monday evening.

Police said the robbery happened at 3:55 p.m. at the 121 Financial Credit Union on Youngerman Circle near Blanding Boulevard. The man entered the bank and stood in line for a short period of time, then displayed a handgun and demanded cash from employees, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. The employees obeyed the orders and the suspect left the bank going south on foot.

Officers said the robber is described as a white man, ranging from ages 25-30, about 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150-160 pounds.

He has dark hair, a thick "5 o'clock shadow" facial hair and a tattoo on the side of his neck.

The man was last seen wearing a blue and white bandana-type head dress with large dark sunglasses. His clothes were described as a blue, white and gray flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a long-sleeved white T-shirt underneath, and baggy blue jeans.
