JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police released surveillance images of a man robbing the Days Inn on Ramona Boulevard early Thursday morning, hoping someone can help them identify the robber.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the night clerk unlocked and opened the door at 3:33 a.m. to confront a man who routinely loiters in the parking lot. The man approached the clerk and the two got into a physical altercation in the lobby. The man then went behind the counter and opened the cash drawer while the clerk went toward the door.

The robber left the scene in an unknown direction.
