Nierenberg shot Stallings in the head and ran away from the home, firing shots at a second victim, officials said.

Nierenberg got into a vehicle and left the scene, according to officials.

Stallings, who was taken to a hospital, later died.

Nierenberg pleaded guilty to the charges in June 2013. His prison sentences will run concurrently.
